Creativity is the Fuel of Innovations

 Creativity Training, Optimism and Visualizations

The mystical power of the brain....how can you utilize it to transform your company or entrepreneurial venture into one that displays a competitive edge for innovative products, services and designs?

Creativity is only as relevant as its context, meaning the rich sociocultural, economic, political and legal aspects of our society today. This context or zeitgeist has profound implications for your business. To the extent that your innovations "fit" the marketplace, and are edgy and novel, your business can be enormously successful.

The field of Creativity has found it's path into the hearts and souls of professional athletes who use visualization techniques, entrepreneurs searching for an exciting new idea and executives wishing to revitalize organizational products, services and systems.

The newly discovered or rediscovered mantra is acknowledge of the optimistic mind in individuals and teams as a conduit to identify oft-hidden opportunities in the marketplace. The science of neuroplasticity is booming with insights concerning the malleability of the brain and the building of new neural pathways for creativity and new product development. It is an exciting era to be an entrepreneur, executive or anyone wishing to master his/her creativity skills for personal development and financial gain.

I have been researching and practicing the art and science of creativity since before creativity was considered relevant and fashionable. And I love it. Creativity training for entrepreneurs, executive and aspiring creatives is what I do. My philosophy for Radical Strategies is to suggest we all do something radical: Get out of our comfort zones and operate with optimism. My mission is to provide the fuel for innovative products, services and designs to budding entrepreneurial ventures and established companies.

My Story

What are you seeking? Financial rewards for hard earned work, a sense of purpose and meaningfulness or simply a caffe latte on the fly? If this opening query strikes a familiar chord, my personal story is probably not unlike yours. As a professor and business owner in my 20’s and 30’s, I struggled with organizational politics, the sometimes lack of workplace integrity and work on the treadmill of life until I broke…not like a china doll into a million pieces, but more like a balloon slowly deflating.

I learned to work within the organizational system or create my own and I lived the life of an anxious striver, a “Type A” worker continually on the move with little regard to serenity or work-life balance.

Then my world blew apart. My husband, Marty Gray, a well-known landscape artist in Laguna Beach, inventor of the Pitbull Wrap Stretcher, and my grounding force began suffering from a rare form of dementia called “Fronto-Temporal” dementia. His eight year struggle, intense suffering and admonition to me that “Life is short,” “We don’t die” and finally the heart-breaking words: “See you on the other side” led to my personal quest for a balanced life while still achieving. I want to give back and change the world for the positive. I intensely read books on happiness, the soul, the neurology of creativity, and even Greek myths on the feminine and masculine mystiques. To honor my late husband's legacy, I am acting on his wishes to give profits from his Pitbull Wrap Stretcher http://www.pitbullwrapstretcher.com/ and artwork http://www.martygrayart.com/ to Wounded Warriors and SURFAID.

My experience illuminated the significance of creativity as a foundation for our lives. Our unique creative flair is placed within us by our Creator. It is a personal platform for all-linked with spirituality and inner peacefulness-that transfers to our work-lives as individual legacy, which is to say leaving something sustainable and of eternal significance behind. How will you change the world?

Deliverables

I offer the following workshops and consultation service to individuals or business owners seeking to change the world. Social entrepreneurship or businesses that embrace a uniquely derived mission to give back to local or global communities is oft-used as a conduit.

1) Discover your new calling or re-make an old one that allows for work-life balance and legacy. Experience and discover your talent and creative flair through learning the creativity process, the psychology and physiology of creativity, neuroplasticity (building new neural pathways in the brain), the role of adversity, stress management and negotiating your profession with purpose and fulfillment.

2) Experience creativity workshops specifically for training employees in business settings to recognize often veiled opportunities, secure premium markets and set new industry standards,

3) Change the “cultural DNA” of your organization into one where creativity is not only encouraged, but revered.

Why Choose Radical Strategies

Did you know that 80% of us are currently dissatisfied with our job, but only 6% of us will make the change to alter our professions in a meaningful way after the age of 45? Those courageous souls that do experience less stress and burn-out and greater self-actualization.I believe that your Act I is the merely the foundation for Act II. The second part of our lives is where wisdom, experience and personal values merge in a fashion that affords us the ability to give back as a part of our professional careers. Act II is where mastery and and engagement happens in an organic way. Many professionals do not transition successfully because they are instructed to only follow their passion even when their passion is not feasible, multi-layered or purposeful. Further, sole emphasis on one's self can lead to obsession rather than action. Make your wisdom count.

My unique combination of a PhD in Organizational Behavior, a professor and researcher in social entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation and a sojourner of life give me the perspective to help you discover your new calling, transform your business culture,and/or blend social entrepreneurship into your company with an aim to change the world and create legacy.

I offer a unique blend of spirituality and stress management to my expertise in starting business ventures or offering workshops to companies that desire something greater while increasing profits.

As an individual or company, I invite you to transform your people and create a legacy that changes the world.
